Importing risk and control frameworks
Import industry-specific risk and control frameworks from Content & Intelligence Gallery.
How it works
Risk and control frameworks are industry-specific, pre-built risk and control matrices that can be imported into an existing project or framework associated with a Workplan or Internal Control workflow.
Depending on the workflow, the following items and relationships are included in risk and control frameworks:

Content & Intelligence Gallery
Risk and control frameworks are only available by subscribing to content suites offered through the Content & Intelligence Gallery, a central repository for industry-specific content that can be used in Diligent products.

Limitations
- You can define a maximum of 500 objectives per project or framework.
- Each objective can contain a maximum of 1000 risks and 1000 controls.
Language support
Diligent currently offers risk and control frameworks in English only.
Updates to risk and control frameworks
Diligent regularly updates risk and control frameworks in Content Library to provide the most current version of the framework. The version of the framework is stated in the title of the risk and control framework.
To use an updated version of a risk and control framework in a project or framework, you must re-import the risk and control framework.
Permissions
Only users assigned the Professional Manager or Professional User role within a project or framework can import risk and control frameworks.
Import a risk and control framework
Import a risk and control framework to a project or framework to quickly and easily apply industry best practices and assure control effectiveness.
Notes
- Interface terms are customizable, and fields and tabs are configurable. In your instance of Diligent One, some terms, fields, and tabs may be different.
- If a required field is left blank, you will see a warning message: This field is required. Some custom fields may have default values.
- Do one of the following:
- Import to a project
- Import to a framework Open Frameworks.
- Open a project, click the Fieldwork tab, or open a framework, and click the Sections tab.
- Click Import Process.
- Under Content Library, select a risk and control framework that you want to import from.
A list of objectives displays. The first 50 words of the process description is shown. To expand the entire process description, click View Details.
- Select the objectives you want to import.
- Click Import.
Result A status message displays confirming that the import has begun.
